This album is an anthology featuring various blues artists I met during my field research from 1976 to 1982 in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana. None of the performers have been featured in previous Mbirafon CDs. Included, among others, are Mott Willis, Lum Guffin, Do-Boy Diamond, Mager Johnson, Roosevelt Holts, Asie Payton, Willie Borum, and Jacob Stuckey. All tracks were digitally remastered from the original tapes in 2013. Editorial assistance by Corey Wetherington, Penn State University.
